Сharity event in the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam Monastery

In August 2008, Co. Ltd. “SVEGA-Computer” held a charity event in the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam Monastery : installation and configuration of Wi-Fi wireless access point of the external performance that allows to deploy the network without laying cable.

The event took place from 4 to 6 August.

The monastery is located on the remote island of Ladoga Lake and in the autumn-winter period they have problems with the delivery and receipt of correspondence from the mainland. And all this is due to lack of navigation. Therefore, the installation of modern computer communications will allow the monastery to stay informed all the year round. They will also be able to conduct business contacts with organizations in Russia and abroad.
