Support, preparation and holding of the 36th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO

36 Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee took place in St. Petersburg from June 24 to July 6, 2012. For the first time the UNESCO session was held in Russia, and in the year of the 40th anniversary of the Convention On the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Meetings of the sessions were held in the Tauride Palace, chaired by Eleanor Mitrofanova, Ambassador, and Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to UNESCO. The session was attended by over 2,000 representatives from 119 countries, including 338 delegates from the member countries of the Committee, as well as observers of the state parties of the Convention, international organizations and non-governmental organizations, scholars, experts.

For the first time at the Committee session was organized the webcast of all the plenary sessions on the official website. Guests and participants were provided with a broadband access to Internet information resources.

Co. Ltd. “SVEGA-Computer” was directly involved in ensuring the preparation and holding of the 36th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO. In full compliance with the governing documents of UNESCO, SVEGA-Computer LLC carried out a comprehensive equipment of all divisions of the Committee in the Tauride Palace by computers and office equipment, including the deployment and installation of specialized software. During the session the specialists of the company carried out the administration of the LAN in the Palace building, continuous technical support of the equipment and users' advising.
